One Program, Two Disciplines
This dual degree blends expertise in family science, human development and social work, offering a robust curriculum enriched by studies in psychology, sociology, political science and economics.
Real-World Experience
Gain hands-on practical experience through completing a total of 400 hours of direct practice with either a public or private human service agency. Supervised field practice provides you the opportunity to gain valuable experience working with clients.
Professional Development and Leadership
Broaden your horizons and expand your experience outside of the classroom through student organizations, including the HDFS Club and the Student Social Work Organization. Participation in these organizations help build strong connections with peers and allow you to develop leadership skills.
